Menu Plan Monday

I'm trying a new recipe this week: Turkey Meatballs, it's a recipe from AllRecipes but I'm doing a modified version, since the version on the site serves 24!!! I'm also not using the crockpot since I'm making the meatballs myself and not using frozen ones. The recipe also says to serve with buttered noodles but we're just going to do mashed potatoes. We're doing grilled chicken also but I'm not sure if I want to do BBQ or marinate it some way. I'm not sure what order I'm gonna do them in. Even when I do put them in a certain order, I always change it up! Visit OrgJunkie to check out more menus!

Turkey Meatballs with Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Sauteed Zucchini and Onions

Grilled Chicken, Fresh Corn (on the grill), Salad

Roast Turkey Subs, Coleslaw

Mexican Tortilla Pie, Mexican Rice

Baked (Homemade) Chicken Fingers, Mac and Cheese, Fruit Salad

Breakfasts
- Oatmeal Blueberry Muffins (I didn't make any last week), Cereal, Fruit (oranges, bananas, pears, pineapple and strawberries)

Lunches- Leftovers, Lean Cuisine's for me (they are on sale this week), sandwiches, frozen veggies

Snacks- Fruit (for all), goldfish/yogurt/raisins (Luke), 100 cal packs of chips-a-hoy, granola bars

The Honeyed Pork Chops from last week we're pretty good. They we're dry, but that was more my fault. The recipe says to cook them (boneless) for an hour! I cooked them about 40 minutes and mine we're bone-in. Thirty minutes probably would have been perfect. I've also figured out that with pork, the longer you can marinate, the better. So these would have probably been better if marinated in the honey sauce for a few hours. The sauce had a really good flavor and would really be good for marinating chicken! I will probably keep the marinade on hand for chicken next time!

Guess what?? Tomorrow is my 100th POST! Check back here to read my 100 Things About Me post. I know you're on the edge of your seat... ;)
